CERTIFICATE 3 GUARANTEE

CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

10983NAT Certificate III in Outside School Hours Care

Eligibility

To be eligible to receive government funding under the Certificate 3 Guarantee program, individuals must:

be a Queensland resident;
be aged 15 years or over, and no longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students);
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency; and
not hold, or not be enrolled in, a certificate III level or higher qualification (not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training).

HIGHER LEVEL SKILLS

CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

CHC50221 Diploma of School Age Education and Care

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Higher Level Skills Program, individuals must:

be a Queensland resident;
be aged 15 years or over, and no longer at school;
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency;
not hold a certificate IV or higher-level qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundation skills training; and
not be enrolled in another qualification, not including foundation skills training.
