Elevate

Guided professional learning journey

The new era of connected professional development and coaching.

Too often, professional learning ends when the webinar does. It can be hard to know how ideas apply to your own setting, your challenges, and the real issues that arise on the floor. Elevate changes that. The Elevate Series is connected professional development and coaching designed for real growth.

Learn. Discuss. Apply. Reflect. Each Elevate program is led by an ECTARC trainer carefully selected for their specialist expertise and years of industry experience. In a small group setting, participants share experiences, work through real challenges and turn learning into meaningful practice.

Beyond the planning cycle: Think differently, plan authentically.

In this Elevate series you will explore how meaningful documentation can be gathered as part of everyday interactions with children, rather than becoming an additional task completed later at a computer. By collecting small pieces of evidence over time, such as brief observations, educator reflections, conversations, work samples and children’s creations, educators can build a richer and more accurate picture of learning without relying on lengthy learning stories. The series will support you to confidently document without a screen, make greater use of children’s work and artefacts rather than excessive photographs, and use ongoing reflection on your service philosophy to create a program that is authentic, responsive, and meaningful to your unique community.

This series will build your confidence to move beyond traditional programming and explore practical, time-efficient, child-led approaches to authentic planning and documentation.
