It is important our programs are flexible and meaningful to cater for all kinds of situations whilst also nurturing growth in children’s learning and development. Throughout this workshop, educators explore the benefits of a holistic play-based program and are taken through the Australian guidelines and recommendations to ensure children’s physical activity needs are being met through play. Full of practical ideas on planning experiences and activities, this workshop identifies different ways we can keep the excitement, creativity, passion and energy in our curriculum – no matter the weather.
