Child Protection – CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk

The safety and wellbeing of children and young people is of utmost importance. Children have the right to feel safe and be protected from abuse. This training is based on the unit of competency from the current National Community Services Training Package to provide participants with information that guides practice within a legislative and policy framework. Participants will explore possible indicators of risk of harm, the documenting of concerns, the processes involved with the reporting of indicators and applying ethical practices regarding child protection in line with relevant requirements.

A written and practical assessment must be successfully completed to achieve a Statement of Attainment.

Webinars are held for 2 hours from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on these dates:

Part 1: 7 May

Part 2: 14 May

Part 3: 21 May

Workshops listed are AEST (NSW) time.

ATTENTION: Please note the CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk unit has been superseded, however this unit is still accepted by ACECQA.
