ACT Funded Training – Skilled Capital
Upgrade to the CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Places are now available for the ACT Government funded Skilled Capital program. This initiative supports educators who hold Certificate III qualifications that were previously not recognised, e.g. those dated prior to 2013 to upgrade to the CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Places are limited, and applications will close on Friday, April 10, or earlier if all places are filled.

This training is funded through Skilled Capital, an ACT Government funded training initiative and delivered by ECTARC Training Services (RTO 90331).
Skilled Capital Eligibility Criteria:
Are you:
– 17 years old or over?
– No longer at school or college?
– Living or working in the ACT?
– An Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, eligible visa holder, or New Zealand citizen who has lived in Australia for more than 6 months?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to all four questions, you may be eligible to enrol. Please check our entry requirements below.
Please note:
Students cannot enrol in a course they have completed within the past 7 years.
On application, you will be required to submit evidence confirming your eligibility.
Examples of acceptable evidence may include:
– Australian Birth Certificate
– Australian Passport
– Australian Permanent Residency Visa
– Australian Naturalisation Certificate
– Green Medicare Card
– NewStart Card
Qualification
CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
This qualification supports experienced educators in developing the skills and knowledge required to take on leadership roles in early childhood education and care services.

Fees
The student contribution fee for this program is $350.00.
This fee reflects the subsidised training made available through the ACT Government Skilled Capital initiative.
Course Entry Requirements
Entry to this program is open to individuals who hold one of the following:
- An Australian Certificate III in Children’s Services
AND can demonstrate at least 12 months cumulative employment (full-time equivalent) within the last 5 years in a regulated education and care service in Australia
Applicants must provide verifiable evidence to support their experience.
Acceptable evidence may include:
– A Statutory Declaration signed by the employer or service Director
– A letter on company letterhead from the employer or Director
– Payslips showing the dates and hours worked (pay rates may be removed)
