ECTARC delivers the Smart and Skilled training program for the CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care to students in regional, remote and metropolitan areas of New South Wales. Training can commence at any time of the year.
The CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is a nationally recognised qualification from the CHC Community Services Training Package.
In September 2025, Human Ability – the Jobs and Skills Council for education and care – released the new CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, replacing the CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. The new qualification broadens entry requirements by recognising previously completed Certificate III qualifications and valuing the existing skills and experience that educators bring. These changes make enrolling in the Diploma more accessible, streamlined, and cost-effective.
