Educational Programs
Our Educational Programs
Using a play-based approach, educators provide optimum programs for children to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that encourage lifelong learning and support a successful transition to school.
In developing quality educational programs for children, educators are guided by the principles, practices and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to support and enhance young children’s learning from birth to five years, as well as their transition to school.
Our educators use an attachment-based approach guided by Circle of Security, which supports children to feel safe, secure and respected, helping them to grow their confidence to explore and learn.
Learning environments are purposely designed to support quality teaching and learning experiences that foster each child’s development. Programs are developed for groups and individuals, so children experience one on one interactions and cooperative group learning experiences.
We recognise the importance of valuing not only our families but also the communities we work in. At ECTARC we believe positive relationships are the key to best outcomes and we work respectfully, ethically and collaboratively with others to support the children and families in our services.
