ECTARC Training Services is a registered training organisation that specialises in early childhood training and professional development across Australia. The Head Office is located at Warrawong, New South Wales and our Queensland office is at Springwood.

ECTARC also operates a network of Early Childhood Services primarily located in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions of NSW. About the Role

ECTARC, originally known as Illawarra Area Child Care (IACC), was incorporated in 1985 as a not-for-profit organisation and has a proud history of providing high quality education and training services to the early childhood education and care sector.

ECTARC Training Services is seeking an experienced early childhood professional to work as a Training and Development Officer- Resource Development.  As a Training and Development Officer you will work as part of a passionate and capable team committed to enriching the futures of our students, children and the community. In this role you will design and develop student centred learning resources and programs, which include digital format.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood (or equivalent) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and working towards a degree in early education
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and willing to upgrade.
  • 5 years’ experience working in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven time management, administrative and computer skills
  • Current full driver’s license

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working as a trainer and assessor in the VET sector
  • Current experience in learning design, with experience in developing learning content and assessments for a Training Package
  • Experience presenting professional development to teams
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • ECTARC employees are vaccinated for COVID-19 and are strongly encouraged to obtain an available booster dose as they become available.
