About the Service

ECTARC is committed to creating environments in which all children can participate and succeed. We understand the safety and wellbeing of all children is paramount, which is why our education and care services provide environments where all children feel safe and are safe.

Our services provide child-educator ratios which are higher than required by legislation with a majority of educators holding a diploma or teaching qualification. Our highly experienced educators are committed to fostering nurturing relationships with children and families and our educational leaders are instrumental in leading the development and implementation of innovative educational programs.

We foster inclusive environments that support the individual needs of all children, working in partnership with families to support their child’s access and participation in the program. We believe our commitment to inclusion harnesses diversity which strengthens the organisation and our practices.

ECTARC is committed to improving educational and developmental outcomes for children, promoting continuous improvement and increasing public awareness about what quality early education and care looks like. Our services:

  • Implement ongoing self-assessment processes
  • Develop and maintain quality improvement planning documents.

Just as we promote children’s learning through the provision of meaningful and engaging environments, our services nurture and support our commitment to continuous improvement and self-assessment processes by creating environments that are well resourced and easy to access for everyone.

At ECTARC our everyday practices, interactions and relationships are guided by:

  • The National Law and Regulations, including the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Early Childhood Australia’s Code of Ethics (2016)
  • Our organizational Vision and values
