About the Role

ECTARC is seeking an experienced payroll officer to lead our payroll team. This is a maternity leave contract.

As an experienced Payroll Officer, you will be an important member of our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes (end-to-end payroll management, reconciliations, data analysis & reporting), ensuring that our staff (over 200 ECTARC employees) receive timely and accurate remuneration. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the financial integrity of ECTARC.

This role reports to the Finance Manager and the payroll assistant will report to this role.

Essential Criteria

  • Over 3 years experience in a payroll position in a medium to large organisation with responsibility for end-to-end payroll including reporting.
  • Experience with award interpretation and payroll legislation
  • Strong data analysis skills with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • A high level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems
  • An effective communicator, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • The ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in Roubler platform
  • Qualifications in accounting or finance
