About the Role

ECTARC is a not-for-profit organisation and has a proud history of providing high quality education and training services to the early childhood education and care sector.

We are seeking an excellent, positive communicator to work as a Training and Development Officer in a passionate and capable team that is committed to supporting and enriching the educational and employment outcomes of our students. In this role you will work collaboratively to train and support students studying early childhood and school aged education and care qualifications and present professional development programs across NSW.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood (or equivalent) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and working towards a degree in early education
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and willing to upgrade OR willingness to enrol in the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment prior to commencing and completing within an agreed time frame.
  • 5 years’ experience working in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven time management, administrative and computer skills
  • Ability to work weekends as required
  • Ability to travel throughout NSW
  • Current full drivers license

Desirable Criteria

  • Working towards a degree in early childhood education (if not already held)
  • Experience working as a trainer and assessor in the VET sector
  • Qualifications and experience in school aged education and care
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Experience presenting professional development to teams
