We are looking for a full time Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) to join us at our innovative ECTARC Clipper Road Education and Care Service in Nowra as it reopens in 2026 under a new relationship-centred model for children from brith to five years.

ECTARC Clipper Road are seeking an experienced educators who hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care to work as part of a passionate and capable team who are committed to enriching the futures of young children. In collaboration with others you will plan and implement high-quality educational, innovative and inclusive programs, whilst also establishing relationships with families to ensure best outcomes for young children.

What makes Clipper Road unique is our embedded multidisciplinary model. Allied Health Professionals will work onsite as part of the daily team, alongside a dedicated Child and Family Practitioner who strengthens partnerships and aligns goals around each child.

This integrated approach supports early identification, removes barriers for families, and builds educator confidence in responding to diverse needs.

Our curriculum is child-led and play-based, supporting holistic development across social, emotional, physical, cognitive, communicative, and spiritual domains.

Essential Criteria:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • A Working with Children Check clearance number
  • Current approved first aid qualification for early education and care HLTAID012
  • Completed an approved child protection Statement of Attainment
  • Experience working in early childhood services
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake the role of Responsible Person on Duty
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current early childhood theories and practice & children’s services legislation
  • Demonstrated high level of ethical and professional behaviour, including collaboration and confidentiality
  • A commitment to practicing ECTARC values every day
  • Strong commitment to you own professional learning

At ECTARC we pay highly competitive salaries, above the award rate and entitlements in accordance with the policies and procedures of ECTARC including:

  • Above award pay (10% wage increase based on the award rate from the Federal Government wage increase, with a further 5% coming in December 2025)
