ECTARC is a not-for-profit organisation, that provides education and care services in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, as well as an award-winning Registered Training Organisation providing early childhood training and professional development across Australia. ECTARC Training Services has two locations, our head office in Port Kembla NSW and Springwood QLD. This role is based at our head office in Port Kembla NSW.

 

About the Role

ECTARC is seeking a proactive, professional and highly organised Administration Officer who is committed to assisting our teams in enriching the futures of the students, children and families we work with. This role will provide key administrative support to ECTARC Training Services Management and our teams across both ECTARC Training Services and Head Office.  The person will also have a large role in the support we provide to our students.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years current experience in an administration role/s.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively whilst in an office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, time management and strong attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive computer skills with demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • A solution focused approach to problem solving with a high level of ethical, confidential, and professional behaviour with all stakeholders.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience within a Registered Training Organisation or the Vocational Education and Training sector.
  • Experience using student management systems or design software.
  • BSB30120 Certificate III in Business or BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business (or equivalent).
